[PVE-User] Can I delete the hard disk of a running VM??!!Really??!! It can't be!!!

 Hi,

or example, you can use ZFS filesystem (via Proxmox infrastructure if you have more computers and separate storage) and use an auto snapshot. It can help to restore an accidentially deleted file, at least back to the time when the snapshot done.

Of course, you can delete full datasets in zfs, too, accidentally, but AFAIK it will not let you destroy a dataset if it in use, for example it has a qcow2 image (raw better in zfs) which belongs to a running VM (file opened).
