Does anyone know where the kvm config files are or what/how kvm generates the string used if you do 'ps -ef |grep kvm' for example?
I want to add '-net tun' to the startup script/config...I think that mighgt be necessary for what I am trying to do...
Thanks,
Shain

Subject: [PVE-User] Proxmox VE Networking issues
Hello all,
I was wondering if someone could shed some light on how exactly I am
supposed to get public (routable) ip addresses working for both OpenVZ
and KVM guest OS's?
When I first setup Proxmox I was able to assign a public ip address to
the openVZ guests that I setup...that worked fine.
However after I setup a Windows 2003 server on the KVM side (it's
networking working fine if I used the default non-routable address) I
decided that I wanted to enable remote desktop..which would require that
I use a routable address.
After setting up a bridge (br0) on the host OS (and following some
online help)..none of the guest os's networking seems to be working
correctly :-(
Here are my two main questions:
1) I have 4 network cards on this server..should I be setting up all the
openvz servers to use one NIC while the KVM guests use another or should
they all use the same NIC?
2) Can someone provide me with some specific examples of getting
routable ip's working for both OpenVZ and KVM on the same machine?
Thanks in advance,
Shain
PS..keep up the good work!
