yes, I have asked to julien to merge the offloading feature, as some users seem to have problems
with some intel nic currently. (seem to be an old never fixed bug with tso + routing/nat)

Yes, I'm going to test it next week and send a patch.
(Changes are big, as it's full netlink now, so I'll try to test it deeply).

I don't known what is the proxmox roadmap about ifupdown2 ? (make it default soon or for proxmox7 ?)
I can add same offload syntax for classic ifupdown1 if needed.
I'll also test again ifupdown2 + ovs (with allow-ovs vmbrX).
Maybe add vlan interface management in gui too. (I have see a lot of users asking how to do it in the forum)

I'll return to work tomorrow, I'll keep you in touch with my progress.

Alexandre

great, I've seen that it was merged into the 7.2 stable branch, IIRC
they do not often bump the stable branch to a new release, so if all
works for you we can cherry-pick that here.

2.0.1-1 has been released just on two days ago, so we could package that,
it's GRO, TSO, ... offload attributes could make life easier for a few of
our users too, which have trouble with certian NICs and that feature..

Do you plan to sent the update to the package or should I take a look?
(I'm only working fully next week again, FYI)
