I’m running the ixgbe interfaces as well.
In 5.0 the ixgbe-options.conf changed slightly.
Here’s a copy of mine:
options ixgbe allow_unsupported_sfp=1
NOTE.. I've not compiled this driver.. it’s included in proxmox. So you might want to change the file and remove the .1 on the end.
