half a year ago we decided to buy Synology RS818RP+
it is turnkey solution, but inside is linux ;-)
its main task here are backups over nfs4,
there is also iSCSI and you may use it for virtuals
since that time i may sleep better, no problem...
there are models with SSD and 2 power supplies for your DC
