Hi Yannis!

Not really, I did all the reported procedures on the below links with my VM (Windows Server 2008 R2) and  I still face issues to run an automated backup.

Drivers installed, changed configuration on GPEDIT.msc and etc... 

More details:
If I try to run the automated backup on my other VM (Windows 7 Pro) that goes well;
If I start up the Windows Server 2008 R2 VM I can shut it down using the buttons (commands), I only get the error if the command to shut down the VM comes from the backup job.

I would be very pleased if any other suggestion comes up!
