It should since the udp checksum is now correct. What you have
experiencing is checksum failures which effectively means that your
multicast traffic was broken since checksum failure will cause the nics
to drop the packages.

So why did it work before and not now?

1) the driver was loaded before with checksum offload disabled by
default and now it is by default loaded.
2) A regression in the network driver which have broken checksum
offload.

What nics are you using?
