Hi all,
I'm using pve 3.3 with kernel 3.10; six nodes in cluster without HA, only
for simple manage.
I've Dell Poweredge R415 with dual Opteron 4284 and 64GB of ram; anche VM
are in raid1 of SSD Samsung 850 PRO.
Now, the problem:
11:10:06 up 10 days, 22:12, 1 user, *load average: 11.33, 12.20, 12.50*
top -n1
top - 11:10:15 up 10 days, 22:12, 1 user, load average: 11.54, 12.23,
12.51
Tasks: 390 total, 1 running, 389 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
%Cpu(s): 52.1 us, 3.9 sy, 0.0 ni, 43.3 id, 0.1 wa, 0.0 hi, 0.7 si,
0.0 st
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S *%CPU* %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
21540 root 20 0 24.5g 23g 3836 S *653* 36.8 25643:20 kvm
21409 root 20 0 24.5g 23g 3836 S *573* 36.7 27016:59 kvm
atop: 600% user cpu anche 600% guest cpu..
Are normal this value? Two VM have 7core (1socke/7core) and cpu host.
When same software run on same hw not virtualized load avg still < 5, why?
No io wait with ssd :)
Tnx,
rr
