Hi guys,

I'm trying to run a samba server in a VE and gives the following error.

Jul 16 21:15:16 vebackuppc nmbd[26771]: [2009/07/16 21:15:16, 0]
lib/interface.c:load_interfaces(229)
Jul 16 21:15:16 vebackuppc nmbd[26771]: WARNING: no network interfaces
found

In smb.conf set the following parameters:

[global]
        dns proxy = no
        log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log
        load printers = no
        server string = SMB Version %v
        socket options = TCP_NODELAY
        wins server = 192.168.1.184
        local master = no
        workgroup = XXXXX-COLOMBIA
        os level = 33
        interfaces = lo/255.0.0.0 venet0/255.255.255.255
venet0:0/255.255.255.255
        domain master = no
        hosts allow = 127. 192.168.1. 192.168.2.
        security = share
        preferred master = no
        max log size = 50
        domain logons = no
...

The VE is a minimal centos 5.2 which was made to upgrade 5.3. Proxmox 1.1
Sorry for my bad English
