Hi,
There are user out there mounting a DRBD on /var/lib/vz.
But this is not a supported or maintained setup and you have to configure it manually - you need to do testing and on every upgrade you need to make sure that you do not break your system.
(OpenVZ does not allow multiple storages, so the only place is /var/lib/vz.)
You should only go for this setup if you are capable to handle this.
For KVM, using DRBD is easier: see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/DRBD

Subject: [PVE-User] proxmox + DRBD for openvz
hi, i have been using proxmox at home, and at work, from 1.2 to 1.4 version (i have about 50 vm's running, kvm and openvz in 10 PVE HN) i'm very happy with it.
my next step is try to implement drbd, but the only vm that can be run on drbd device is a kvm right?
what happends if i creates a symbolic link from /var/lib/vz/private/CTID and /var/lib/vz/root to the drbd device in all PVE HN? should it work?
sorry for my english, im from argentina :p
