Or more precisely:
Disk type: scsi
Storage: zfs over iscsi (libiscsi)
does not work:
Disk type: virtio
Storage: zfs over iscsi (libiscsi)
works
can somebody confirm this?
Forgot to mension:
proxmox-ve: 4.3-66 (running kernel: 4.4.19-1-pve)
pve-manager: 4.3-1 (running version: 4.3-1/e7cdc165)
But it was the same for 4.1 and 4.2.
