Yes, It's working with mutliple interfaces.
do you want to add ip,gateway as params to netX option ?

Son't have implemented it yet, but we just need to write ipv6 config in the debian network interfaces format

It's fast, maybe <15s after grub for basic network config. 
But for example if you want to upgrade packages at first boot or launch puppet/chef, 
it can take a lot more.
