I don't known for GUI, because in this case, you need to resize disk in command line.

but I think we could extend "qm resize ...." with some special value like "max"

Which version ? (because nothing has change in resize code since the beginning)

Ohh, I wrote the size to add ... :-( 

Moreover, I need to do some calculations 
something as total space - (minus) 
- the metadata of DRBD - (minus) 
- the metadata of LVM (PV, VG and LV) 
and all this in bytes ... .... :-( 

I believe that the PVE GUI need a option that say something as "grow disk to 
the max allowed", for achieve the max resize. Also that can work in LVM, 
Ceph, Gluster, etc, any kind of storage (so that much people will enjoy of 
this new option if the need) 

...I liked more the old versions of PVE .... :-(
