We include all information in the 'vv' file, so that is not really needed.
But the CA is stored at /etc/pve/pve-root-ca.pem

First, update from 'pvetest' repository:
"deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian wheezy pvetest"
Then on the GUI, configure datacenter/options/ConsoleViewer ==> SPICE
AFAIK you need to logout and login again to reload that config.
Then select a node, and press the 'Shell' button.

We do not set any file name (that name is generated by the browser).

see above (press 'Shell' button on GUI).

You do not need to run any VMs to test (see above).
