[pve-devel] online disk resizing - what about grub / lvm

Hello list,

i'm testing online disk resizing with kvm / proxmox. The disk resizing 
itself works fine.

The disk size is also updated in the client. But the linux kernel does 
not support rereading the partition table while partitions from that 
disk are mounted.

So my other idea was to use LVM for the whole disk without a partition 
table. But in that case grub doesn't want to install.
