1 other thing to check, is that when using storage with dual controller (iscsi/nfs),
the recommendation is to have high timeout (60-90s), for controller failover, so vms can survive.

Seem strange that user report hang, as nfs default timeout is 0.7 second according the doc. 

I'll do some tests with differents storage.

usually each storage type already has timeout options (sfor example ee nfs mount options)?
