Hi,
yes we can use openvz mounts, it's was just to be more clean. (having kvm in /proc/vz/... )
how did you do fairsched with kvm ?
libvirt do fairsched with kvm and cgroups without any problems .

I will not touch openvz cgroup implementation in any way for now - we need to get 2.0 out first. Any help to get 2.0 working is highly appreciated ;-)
Besides, we disabled fairsched support for KVM because of strange side effects with virtio. First step would be to test that again.
And why do you want to rewrite the openvz part? Can't we simply use the openvz mount points?
