The consoles of my proxmox nodes keep showing the error

CIFS VFS: ioctl error in smb2_get_dfs_refer rc=-5

Apparently, the QNAP NAS serving shares to the cluster via CIFS, does not support DFS.

This should not be flagged as an error and was recently fixed in kernel 4.17.

Would it be possible to back port this low risk patch to the PVE kernel to get rid of the error messages?
