[PVE-User] Backup WIN7 VM on Proxmox 2.2, restore on Proxmox 4.4 results in "Boot failed: not a bootable disk

Seems strange. Have you tried to boot to a windows 7 installation ISO
and inspect the virtual disk from within? Maybe try also "repair boot"?
