Hi,

you can try to enable transparent hugepages

/etc/default/grub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet transparent_hugepage=madvise"

then

#update-grub

and reboot

Objet: [PVE-User] Proxmox 4.1 and SQL Server 2014

Hi friends

I have encounter a very serious issue with WIndows 2012 and SQL Server.
The VM lying in a HP Proliant DL580 G, with RAID 5 with 1,2 SAS HD - 10K.
The server has 256 GB of memory and 4 giga ethernet.
The storage is local...
The VM has 128GB, numa actived, tablet = 0, hotplug = 1, and two images:
1 - C: - 120 GB - RAW
2 - D: - 950 GB - RAW.

The database file is about 550 GB. Is huge indeed!
The bare meral, the server works ok!
In VM, has slow behavior... Very very slow...

Somebody has some experience to share about this scenario, taht can help me
with something?!?!

Thanks a lot
