[PVE-User] How many cores/sockets should I allocate to Win 2012 as a VM?

it depends what the applications  in windows need , and the requirements of
your other virtual machines.

I would start with 2 CPU and 4GB mem.

then check graphs in pve  at the 'Summary' tab.

adjust as needed.
