Hello,
I recently deployed new cluster with Storage being set on Debian Jessie
(8.0) with ZFS. Storage is shared between nodes using ZFS iSCSI feature.
However, I cannot create new VMs, creation fails with the following task
error:
bash: /usr/sbin/stmfadm: No such file or directory
TASK ERROR: create failed - command '/usr/bin/ssh -o 'BatchMode=yes' -i
/etc/pve/priv/zfs/192.168.4.1_id_rsa root at 192.168.4.1 /usr/sbin/stmfadm
create-lu -p 'wcd=true' -p 'guid=600144fed7ca7a4428f848f71594a1bc'
/dev/zvol/rdsk/rpool/vm-1101-disk-1' failed: exit code 127
There's no "stmfadm" command available on my Linux storage. It looks
like this command is available only on Solaris based OSes.
Initially I wanted to run OmniOS as an OS on my storage, but apparently
there's no support for X550 10GigE network cards in OmniOS-stable, so
this forced me to use Linux instead - it has support X550 Intel nics in
4.x kernel.
Any suggestions?
Mikhail.
