I am a bit surprised. Are you sure "pvesh get version" has the same
output on your two nodes ?

Can you start a javascript console when you're logged and post the
output of

console.log(PVE.Utils.kvm_vga_drivers);

it should display a list of available drivers which should also include
a serial driver btw.
