can you check in your host /var/log/messages if you don't have any oom-killer ? (out of memory)

Hello guys
I have this server for test purpose only:
ASUS Micro ATX p/ Intel LGA 1155 H61M-A/BR - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3250 CPU @ 3.50GHz
But like I said, it's just for tests purpose...
This "server" has 8 GB of memory.
I deploy just one VM with Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS and install Zimbra inside it.
The VM ran smoothly yesterday and today, about 15-30 minutes ago, the VM completely hang on!
So, I went to Proxmox web interface and the VM in fact stoped!
And worst, there's any kind of log or warning that can point to me any clue what happened!
I am using Proxmox 3.4...
Some advice?
