On the bigger ones the latest BIOS is from mid 2013, so it should not  
be too old, i guess. One of the machines has run VMWare ESXi 4.1 until  
recently without any problems, and the last one is somewhat older but  
total different manufacturer. So we nearly changed all parts of the  
hardware, but the problem still arises from time to time and always on  
the node with the most VMs active.
