[PVE-User] openiscsi with Proxmox

is there anyone have used openiscsi with Proxmox in production?
for example. openfiler or manual openiscsi?
what is your recommendation for the backend SAN/NAS box other then freeBSD
or FreeNAS as both lagging DRBD and i want to setup an HA with DRBD.
any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
