Quick notes, haven't tested with vm's yet:

mount  reports:
	"mount: error writing /etc/mtab: Invalid argument"

However the mount succeeds and there is an entry in mtab

Oddly performance is much less than fuse. With fuse a dd test gives 90-100 
MB/s.

With the kernel module its 31 MB/s

I'm guessing fuse is doing a lot of caching.


What version of ceph is the kernel module compiled from?
