[PVE-User] KVM - CPU Type

Hi all,

Can someone please fill me in performance wise, whats better to have when building a KVM and using the CPU. Is the better performance based on the “Default(kdm64)” or does it make more sense to use an emulated CPU that matches the type of CPU thats inside the physical host such as Westmere, SandyBridge, etc.

This is in conjunction with building windows based KVM’s for 2012 server and so forth.
