i put this line
/etc/inetd.conf

here is my telnet result
root at virt-dev:/var/log# telnet 10.x.x.13 5000
Trying 10.x.x.13...
Connected to 10.x.x.13.
Escape character is '^]'.
RFB 003.008
as document says it is fine if i see the above result. now when i try to
connect via TightVNC it is saying.
Connection established
status:list of security type received.
TightVNC info error message window shows
server did not offer supported security type!.
when using RealVNC it says
(at first it was showing RFB blah blah error now i dont now what i have
change in settings so it is showing this)
Unable to connect to VNC server using your chosen security setting. either
upgrade VNC server to a more recent version from RealVNC or select a weaker
level of encryption.
can anyone please confirm why and what it is saying ?
obviously one thing i can get from the inetd.conf command that password is
missing when so when i add the password at the end of the line it gave me
400 error with wrong arguments msg when telnet the port.
please help.
Thanks you,
MYK
however there is one thing missing, Password.
