However, yours would be added to the backup the virtual machine name, 
for example:

vzdump-qemu-100-2013_04_23-15_10_17.tar.lzo

Backup with name VM:

vzdump-qemu-100-2013_04_23-15_10_17-pfsense-mo2o.tar.lzo


root at proxmox:~# qm list
       VMID NAME                 STATUS     MEM(MB)    BOOTDISK(GB) PID
        102 pfsense-mo2o         stopped    1024               0.00 0
