Please don't use embedded links in emails, especially in mailing lists and
*especially* if they point to a website called "hidemyass.com" which really
doesn't look like something I'd want to click. Copy the URL in plain text
in the email so one can decide if it's worth clicking without having to
hover on it and look at the status bar.

If everyone could just stop using HTML emails altogether, that would be
even better. No matter how good someone's taste for fonts and colors is
(and so very often it isn't), there's a pretty good chance that other
people want to read emails with the fonts and colors they configured in
*their* MUA.
