It's strange, I've done this successfully in two nodes. 

Check /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/pve.conf, and look for
"SSLCertificateFile" and "SSLCertificateKeyFile". They are pointing to
the files used by apache for SSL. If the files are correct, then an
Apache reload should use them.
