Please try cache=writeback in your VM configuration file. It looks like a problem with "cache=none" (the default setting) I have. "writeback" is just a workaround. Example:
cat /etc/qemu-server/100.conf
....
virtio0: data1:vm-100-disk-1,cache=writeback
...
Hope it's helpful,
Michael

Betreff: [PVE-User] backup restore - drive not bootable anymore
Hello to all
I have one cluster (1.9) with two proxmox nodes.
There is one ubuntu 10.04 server VM that I succesfully made backup of.
But when I do (successfull) restore on the second node, under different VMID, this hdd does not appear to be bootable. (error no bootable device
...)
The intesion was to check backup-restore procedure.
I kindly ask for help
and every tip would be very appreciate
Thank you very much in advance
Best regards Tonci Stipicevic
