Hello,
did you consider to just add the Tab key to "SendKey"[1]?
I am also affected by this bug (Firefox 11, Slackware 13.37, Fluxbox as
WM) and had a hard time to find the solution in the forum. Just adding
Tab to SendKey would not annoy users without this problem and be life
saver to users with this problem.
