[PVE-User] Access disk space from multiple VMs. Is that possible?

Linux and Proxmox VE is very flexible but because if something is possible is not always the best solutions.
So if you expect best results for KVM guest you should use a performance SAN, using dedicated storage connections (FC, dedicate iSCSI, etc.).

OpenVZ and KVM also runs quite well on local storage, but only OpenVZ support live migration on local storage. So think twice before you design your setup.
