[PVE-User] change VM setting command line

is there any way or any config file for a particular VM to which i can
change RAM and other specs via shell. not web console.

i tried the file on the location /etc/qemu-server/vmid.conf but it
doesnt help. when i change the ram size to 4 GB and start VM via
command line "qm start VMID", after successful loading i checked the
RAM size, it is showing me 512 MB is installed in VM. and when i
explored the web console the RAM section was EMPTY (there was no value
in it). can you please help.
