Hello Alain

thank you for your quick answer.

source.list on both nodes is exactly the same :

zmaj03-2:~# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.hr.debian.org/debian lenny main contrib
# PVE packages provided by proxmox.com
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian lenny pve
# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates main contrib

I think also that there is enough space on the lvm partition .... (25%
free)

     netapp-lvm LVM Yes Yes Yes 257.02 349.00

zmaj03:~# pvs
PV VG Fmt Attr PSize PFree
   /dev/sda2 pve lvm2 a- 595.54G 3.99G
   /dev/sdb vg-netapp lvm2 a- 349.00G 91.98G

Are my VMs big ? ... I don't know
please take look at lv sizes:

Volume ID VMID Size (GB) Used (GB)
netapp-lvm:vm-101-disk-1 101 50.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-105-disk-1 105 15.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-106-disk-1 106 75.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-107-disk-1 107 10.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-108-disk-1 108 32.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-109-disk-1 109 20.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-113-disk-1 113 10.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-115-disk-1 115 10.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-116-disk-1 116 20.00 -
netapp-lvm:vm-117-disk-1 117 15.00 -

The backup does not start when we are talking about VMs of 10-15G ....
not even tried the bigest one 75G :-)

/var/log/vzdump folder contains only succesfull logs , there are no
logs with the broken backups

but nevertheless,
I still don't know how to solve my update issue :-(

Thank you very much for your time !

best regards

Tonci Stipicevic
