[PVE-User] WG: difference b/w backup types

Thanks for the Tip but our Rack Room is secure and no one can go in this
room. secondly i am sure there is no network issue rather it could be an IO
issue or any resource level issue in Base machine.

I agree that we can not relay only on VM backups. but as far as my level
of experience is concern is that i have restored VM several times and i
haven't seen any restoration failure due to corruption of backup file or any
other reason the restore was always successful

now the part that i should backup files inside VM. so definitely i am
backing up all the databases and required files on daily bases however due
to the reason of quick recovery i also take VM backup. for instance if some
thing goes wrong in our office premises like fire or any disaster so
creating the same environment in minimum down time was the
actual reason behind this. like we have multiple changes in domain
controller on daily bases so if we restore the nearest backup of VM we
should be able to at least reach the nearest point and after that we can
restore from files and database. it is like full and differential kind of
backup however if VM fails then definitely we can restore our data from
backup files

i do backup files inside VM. but to restore them easily i also backup VMs on
monthly bases. for instence if i have domain controler
