Hi Muhammad,
 
it depends on what you want and how you can reach your goal. 
- Minimum downtime: Go for snapshot - need file system support, so use
LVM. 
- Little hassle, but reasonable downtime: Suspend. 
- Safe side: Stop hte machine, so all data bases and services are
stopped and in a defined state, but you add start/stop time to downtime.

I wanted to ask that what is the difference b/w snapshot,stop and
suspend.i am aware of a difference which is written on wikki doc. but
what i wanted to know is that which one is more efficient in resource
perspective. which one is more heavier on RAM and  Processor which one
is quicker? etc. thus i can design my backup plan accordingly.
