but i think this:

echo "net.ipv6.conf.eth0.disable_ipv6 = 1" > /etc/sysctl.conf

s/b
echo "net.ipv6.conf.eth0.disable_ipv6 = 1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf

note the >> instead of  >
