Hi all,
We just uploaded some updates for the 1.4beta, also updated the ISO, just update as usual (but make sure you point your sources.list to the pvetest repo), includes some new drivers (realtek nic, intel nic, ich10 updates, sata cdroms, fix for password problem, some minors bugs). The 1.4 Kernel should now work on most new boards with ich10, Nehalem (corei7) based systems.
New feature: Assign Sockets/Cores to KVM guests
Proxmox VE/KVM is now one of virtualization platform that can assign up to 4 sockets with 4 cores on each socket to a virtual machine. Some operation systems has limitation in the use of multiprocessor systems so you can specify now exactly what you need.
Many thanks to Cesar who donated to "accelerate" this implementation.
Best Regards,
