1. What happen if you enable ACPI (this is default)?

2. For testing: boot with one cpu - any change?

Best Regards,

1.4 is slow on bootup, login, when using any application(MS word, excel, etc) via remote desktop/vnc console and when the anti-virus (trend) does a daily scan its unusable. I only used the boot up time as a reference as its probably the easiest to measure.

So you just measure the boot time?

Using stopwatch (http://expect.nist.gov/stopwatch/) Windows 2003 on Proxmox 1.4 took 2m53s to reach a point where I could hit ctrl-alt-del. On Proxmox 1.3 it took 40s to reach the same point. So a factor of 4 or so.

thanks,

How do you measure the "slowness"?
