How do you measure the "slowness"?

Sorry, here's the original conf (restored from backup) that was on 1.3 before the upgrade.

name: as1.cape.saao.ac.za
smp: 8
bootdisk: ide0
ide0: vm-3389-disk.qcow2
ostype: w2k3
memory: 3000
onboot: 1
boot: dc
freeze: 0
cpuunits: 1000
acpi: 0
kvm: 1
vlan0: e1000=F6:53:F7:38:98:D5
ide2: windows_2003_x86.cd1.iso,media=cdrom

The config I have on 1.3 which is running fine is as follows:

# cat /etc/qemu-server/3389.conf

name: as1.cape.saao.ac.za

sockets: 2

bootdisk: ide0

ide0: vm-3389-disk.qcow2

ostype: w2k3

memory: 3000

onboot: 1

boot: c

freeze: 0

cpuunits: 1000

acpi: 0

kvm: 1

ide2: none,media=cdrom

cores: 4

vlan0: rtl8139=F6:53:F7:38:98:D5

lock: backup

Are you sure that this is from 1.3? we did not have the cores/socket option in 1.3.

Br, martin
