All cluster nodes need to be in the same physical network.

Subject: [PVE-User] Cluster nodes in different subnets/VLANs

Hi all,

I'm going crazy :-[ with network configuration of my two cluster nodes. Here's an explanation :

 *   host A stands in VLAN 100 / subnet 192.168.100.0/24 with 2 bridge interfaces

    *   vmbr0 :

       *   slave eth0
       *   ip address 192.168.100.4
       *   gateway address 192.168.100.1

    *   vmbr1 :

       *   slave eth0.200

 * host B stands in VLAN 200 / subnet 192.168.200.0/24 with only 1 bridge interface

    *   vmbr0 :

       *   slave eth0
       *   ip address 192.168.200.220
       *   gateway address 192.168.200.1
host A runs 5 OpenVZ VEs :

 *   1002, 1003, 1004 and 1005 are configured with venet networking
 * 2001 and 2002 are configured with veth networking and bound to vmbr1
Host B has no VEs at this time.

I'd like to be able to perform online migration beetween my 2 nodes, but i can't figure how to configure networking properly... :-\

I suppose that if a VE is bound to vmbr0 on host A, it will be bound to vmbr0 on host B after online migration, but I did not make the test a right now.

Anyone could help me ? :-)
