I guess not, as this affects only the LIO sub-plugin,
and you mention that you use Comstar which does not share
any code - so there cannot be any semantic changes there..

For that issue, it would maybe be great to start posting the
actual information/error-logs Fabian requested as he still
offered help (even after completely wrong accusations of him
breaking things...) else we really cannot do anything for #2176 ...
