A few things I'm still missing:
* Web GUI integration (simple checkbox?)
* remove from replication?
* purge RRD stats?

At least the WebGUI would be nice to have now, replication too,
that should not be to problematic.. The rrd is probably a bit more
work, but not much, status.c from pmxcfs could be adapted or you
could look how feasible it'd be to just drop 
"/var/lib/rrdcached/db/pve2-vm/$vmid" (from all nodes)

Also, I'd like to have the empty line removal or whitespace fixups
in separate patches, at least for those which are not in the direct
context your "real changes" would touch anyway.
