@Fabian could you look over this and see if i did interpret the
spec/pebble code correctly ?
in my tests both our old version and the new one worked there, but i am
mostly sure it just worked because of the timing, not the correct polling
also, if this is ok, we should roll this out rather quickly, since the
non-staging api change happens on July 5th
