Don't have tested 4.13 yet. (I can wait, don't have migrated to proxmox 5 yet)

What is the proxmox plan ? waiting for next ubuntu lts ? or migrate to ubuntu artful kernel soon ? (4.13)

I am not sure whether that is worth it - 4.10 won't be around much

yes, it is a bit unfortunate how the release cycles don't sync up. but 
come spring, we might be able to rebase on an (upstream and Ubuntu) LTS 
again for the remainder of PVE 5!
