about linux bridge vs ovs performance, I have found an good presentation from redhat.

to resume, linux bridge is a little bit faster than ovs.

But with coming ovs dpdk support, performance will be 5x faster for small packets an single flow.

(But will not be easy to implement, need hugepages, vhost-user,...
