yes, but I'm not sure of stability of zfs for linux ;)

I'm using it for ceph monitor daemon only (and os).
Of course ceph osd daemon are running on raw disk without any raid.

sorry, but IMHO mdadm raid is not suitable (dangerous) for ceph. But ceph is
designed to work without
RAID, so I don't really get why you want to use mdadm for that?
